READ THROUGH THE FOLLOWING APPLICATION AND REMOVAL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO APPLY YOUR LASHES 🖤

As with all things worth doing in life, learning to do your lashes for the first time may take a bit practice. If it feels hard at first, don’t give up! Practice makes perfect,

The LashLife system is simple to learn. It's as easy as learning to do your own makeup.

1) Start with clean, oil free lashes

2) Carefully remove LashLife segments from the lash jar and set it on your lash pad or work surface.

3) Dab a small amount of glue to the top of the lash segment spine and a little way up into the lash fibers (about 1mm)

4) Apply a small amount of glue at the base of your natural lashes. DO NOT apply the glue all the way through to the tips of your lashes. If you've applied too much of glue, use a spoolie to lightly brush through your lashes to remove excess glue. Wait for 10 seconds for the glue to become tacky.

5) Use your applicator tool or tweezer to pick up a lash segment at the tips of the lash fibers.

*Use your fingertips to spread out the lash fibers if necassary

Apply the segment to the underside of your natural lashes, lining up the base of the lash segment close to, but not touching, the base of your natural lashes.

You want the segments to be about 1mm away from your waterline.

*We recommend not applying the segments all the way to your outer eye corners, especially if you’re a side-sleeper, to prevent them from getting crushed by your pillow. Leave a few free lashes on the inner and outer corner of your eye.

Hold the lash segment in place for a second to allow it to attach to the glue. If your initial placement isn’t what you want, you can gently move the lash segment around to get to your ideal positioning.

Use the back of the applicator tool or tweezer to push the lash segment up into your lashes.

Continue adding more lashes. Apply lashes closely next to each other and slightly overlap the corners of each segment for a seamless look.

*Depending on the size of your eye, you will use 6/5/4/3 lash segments per eye. Remember, our eyes are sisters, not twins… one eye may take more or less lash segments than the other.

6) Once you’ve applied all of your segments, clean off the inside of the applicator to make sure that there is no glue residue on it.

7) Use the applicator to seal your lash extensions together with your natural lashes by gently clamping your natural lashes together with the LashLife segments. You may also use your finger tips for this step

 8) Apply Water Repellant coating or Tack Off sealant at the base of your lash extensions. This step is not necessary but will extend the wear of your lashes.

Troubleshooting

*If the lashes are sticking to your applicator when you are applying or sealing them, you may have gotten glue on the applicator. You can use a little water or Lash Laundry to wipe the applicator off and try again.

*Make sure you are applying glue, not just on the spines of the segments, but also a little way up into the lash fibers (about 1mm)

 * If your lashes remain tacky, you've applied too much of glue. Remember, a little glue goes a long way. The LashLife  glue is designed to remain flexible  in order to allow movement and growth of your natural lashes. Apply tack off sealant to remove sticky residue

Pro tips and tricks

*Your lashes can last up to 7 days, so plan to change them out in about a week. If they loosen sooner, you can dab a little glue and re-apply the lash segments.

*Avoid washing your lashes directly, especially with oil-based soaps or makeup remover. Carefully wash around the lash area with a washcloth and gently pat dry. Once your lashes are dry, seal them with your applicator or fingertips.

*Curl your natural lashes with an eyelash curler before applying the glue. This will make the application much easier

*Hold a mirror below your face and look down into the mirror while placing lashes. This allows you to have a clear view of the underside of your lashes without having to lift your eyelid.

*Keep makeup remover, micellar water, or our lash laundry solution close by to wipe off any glue residue that gets onto the applicator tool. A sticky applicator tool can make application tricky.

*Sleep on your back to avoid lashes getting pulled off by your pillow. Side sleeping may cause the outer corner lashes to become loose. Sleeping on your face while wearing LashLife will damage your lash set.

*Use a cotton bud dipped in water to clean any makeup fallout on top of your lashes

 Lash removal

*Use the LashLife Lash Melt remover or your favorite oil-based makeup remover / oil of your choice (coconut, olive, sunflower, castor )

*Apply directly onto and under lashes

*Massage into Lashes for a few seconds in a downward motion until lashes fall off.

*Do not tug or pull lashes to avoid damaging your natural lashes.

*Apply more remover to your natural lashes and use a spoolie to brush through your lashes to remove any glue residue left on your natural lashes.

Reusing Lashes

 1) Soak lashes in lash laundry solution for 5 min (99% isopropyl alcohol)

Using a lower concentration of alcohol will cause lashes to disintegrate faster.

 2) Remove lashes from Alcohol, 1 at a time and use a makeup brush or cotton bud to gently wipe away any glue residue. It is normal to lose 1 or 2 lash fibers while cleaning.

3)Brush cleaned lashes with a spoolie to fluff them up

Your lashes are now ready to be reused.

LashLife segments will eventually start to disintegrate. On average, the lashes can be cleaned and reused 2- 3 times. AIR LASHES ARE NOT DESIGNED FOR REUSE
