ARE ALL DIY LASH EXTENSIONS THE SAME?
DIY lash extensions refer to the general concept of applying lashes yourself to achieve an individual lash extension look. This system was refined by an American company who introduced the concept of flexible adhesives paired with light weight lashes for under lash application.
Since 2022, basic DIY lash extension kits started being mass-produced, private-labelled, and widely available worldwide, a great improvement in the industry overall.
What makes LashLife unique, since 2021, is our deep involvement in product development, tailoring basic DIY lash extensions to our African market and the need for affordable, high quality beauty maintenance.

HOW IS IT DIFFERENT FROM CLUSTER LASHES?
DIY lash extensions is an evolution of traditional cluster lashes, solving all their previous issues:
· Less Damage: Traditional cluster lashes often use hard-curing adhesives, which can be damaging when used to apply lash extensions without lash isolation.
LashLife adhesives remain soft and flexible, reducing tension on your natural lashes and allowing them to move and grow.
Better Design: Traditional cluster lashes are made by clustering and heat-fusing lash fibers at the base. This results in a lash cluster that has a thick, firm lash band.
LashLife lashes are crafted with the finest Korean silk fibers, arranged along a hair-thin band for a flexible, lightweight feel. This ensures even weight distribution for a non damaging hold. The combination of specialized adhesives, lashes and tools makes LashLife the next generation of cluster lashes.
WHAT IS THE LASH DASH?
The Lash Dash is a new type of lash extension adhesive, pioneered by Nirasha Murugan, founder of LashLife. The innovation was named ‘THE LASH DASH” By our online community in June 2024, before the rest of the world caught wind of our proudly South African product.
The lash dash is a long wearing self-adhesive tape for under lashes. The tape is applied to the top of each lash segment and pressed into your natural lashes. This provides a strong yet gentle hold that is water-resistant, mess fee and life-proof

HOW DO I CHOOSE THE RIGHT LASH STYLE?
LashLife focuses on natural and realistic-looking lashes, available in a variety of different styles and lengths. The style refers to the weave pattern and density of the lash segment. Lash styles include naturals, hybrids, volumes and spikes.
If you’re a beginner: Start with one lash style to build confidence in application.
Once you’re comfortable: Experiment by mixing and matching different styles and lengths to create custom looks that match your outfit, mood, or occasion.
Each lash style is named according to its unique look and vibe, start with the one that speaks to you!
HOW DO I CHOOSE THE RIGHT LENGTH?
Choose your length based on the look you’re going for:
10mm – Short

IS LASHLIFE WATERPROOF?
LashLife is water-resistant. You can adjust your application method for resistance, depending on your needs.
HOW LONG WILL MY LASHES LAST?
LashLife can be applied differently based on your desired wear time:
* 1 day or a weekend look → Use only brush-on adhesive
· * 1 week wear → Use ‘firm flex’ method
· * Up to 2 weeks → Lash dash+ brush on adhesive + sealant

HOW DO I REMOVE LASHLIFE LASHES?
LashLife removal is simple, gentle, and damage-free!
Use Lash Melt Remover for the best results.
If you don’t have Lash Melt, you can use any oil-based makeup remover or eye-safe oil (coconut, castor, or olive oil). Oil effectively breaks down the adhesive for a safe and easy removal.
WILL LASHLIFE DAMAGE MY NATURAL LASHES?
No, as long as they are applied, removed, and cared for correctly.
LashLife adhesives are gentle and flexible, reducing stress on your natural lashes. Our formulas are free from harsh chemicals like cyanoacrylate, formaldehyde, and latex.
1-3 day wear time per application is recommended for those who value natural lash health over long wear.
ARE THE LASHES REUSABLE?
Yes, LashLife Original Lashes (lash jars) are specifically designed for reuse. The jar packaging doubles as a cleaning and storage vessel.
Use our Lash Laundry solution to clean and extend the lifespan of your lashes.
Exceptions:
· Air Lash Range – Not designed for reuse; intended as an affordable introduction to DIY lash extensions.
· Cashmere Lash Collection – Can be reused with gentle care, but prioritizes ultra-light, natural fibers over durability.
CAN I WEAR LASHLIFE IF I HAVE SENSITIVE EYES OR WEAR CONTACTS?
Yes! Unlike traditional lash adhesives, LashLife glue is safe for sensitive eyes.
IS LASHLIFE CRUELTY-FREE?
Always! We never test on animals. Our lashes are made with the finest synthetic Korean silk, offering a lightweight, luxurious feel, comparable to professional lash extensions (or even better!)
